Public Sector Body Compensation Disclosure
Public sector bodies are now required to post online the names and compensation paid to:
- all board members
- employees who earn over $125,000
This is a requirement under the Public Sector Compensation Transparency Act, which applies to:
- agencies, boards and commissions governed by the Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act
- independent offices of the Legislature
- employees of Covenant Health
- other entities identified in the regulations
The first posting is required by June 30, 2016.

Disclosure of Travel and Expenses
On October 1, 2012 the Government of Alberta implemented a new comprehensive disclosure policy on travel, accommodation, meals and hospitality expenses.
The disclosure requirements apply to Ministers and Associate Ministers, their political staff, and senior officials appointed by Order in Council and paid directly by government; and to Deputy Ministers and executive managers in the Alberta Public Service, including government Agencies.
Expenses are published online, along with receipts. Disclosures will be reported on a bi-monthly basis.
