technical presentations

The Oil Sands Monitoring Symposium will feature technical presentations organized into a two-day plenary session. A keynote address will kick-off the start of each day.

Technical presentations will feature monitoring activities and results collected during the three-year Joint Canada/Alberta Implementation Plan for Oil Sands Monitoring (JOSM). Speakers will address the purpose of their work; what they have learned; and, next steps. Presentations will cover topics such as: emissions and releases, water quantity and quality; and, footprint.

poster session

A poster session will be held concurrent to the evening reception on February 24^th. A list of poster titles will be added to this site as they become available.

evening reception

Join us for an informal evening reception February 24^th from 5:00 -7:00 pm. You will get a chance to unwind, network over food and drinks, and chat about all things environmental monitoring.
