Overview
The Oil Sands Monitoring Symposium was held on February 24-25, 2015 at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta.
This two-day event featured technical presentations on monitoring activities and results collected during the three-year Joint Canada/Alberta Implementation Plan for Oil Sands Monitoring (JOSM). Scientists presented findings related to: air, water, biodiversity and wildlife health monitoring.
The symposium was attended by individuals from a wide range of organizations including: environmental consultants; non-profit organizations, industry, provincial and government agencies; and, students, instructors and others in the academic community.
