AEMERA is searching for a Project Manager to join our Information Technology team. In this diverse role, the Project Manager will provide leadership and direction to cross-functional project teams. This includes contributing to the review, analysis, development and implementation of a corporate-wide IT approach, and management and project delivery throughout the organization. The position reports to the Chief Information Officer.
Our ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong leadership and exceptional consultation and negotiation skills. Highly developed project and change management abilities are essential to this role. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong technical and analytical abilities are also considered assets for the role.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Computing Science or a related field.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) considered an asset.
- Six (6) or more years of industry experience in project management in the business or information technology sector.
- Ability to work independently or part of a fast-paced and highly adaptive team environment.
- Strong organization skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Exceptional client services skills, energetic and an excellent team player.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Other combinations of education and experience will be considered as equivalencies.
